My latest: low-tech parenting (in CT) and a review of Burge (in FT)
I’ve got two pieces from the past week to share.
First up is a review of Ryan Burge’s new book in the latest issue of First Things, titled “Mainlining Nostalgia.” I respect and appreciate Burge’s work, and enjoyed his previous three books, but I had issues with this one.
Second is an article for Christianity Today called “Low-Tech Parenting Must Be a Big Tent.” In it I argue for strong judgments about tech without the kind of judgmentalism to which parents are always prone. Let’s be tech fallibilists with heavy doses of tech grace.
